Volunteering

Most people who don't currently volunteer say that they would if someone asked them to. So... we'd like to ask you!

Without the valuable commitment of volunteers, Circle Support would not be able to deliver its wide range of high quality services. Volunteers are actively engaged in supporting our service users to become more independent and make informed choices that affect their lives.

Volunteers can help people to:

  • Develop a unique, supportive relationship which is informal yet professional
  • Develop independent living skills and build confidence and self esteem
  • Access appropriate accommodation or to sustain their tenancies
  • Engage with their communities, access new activities - for example, joining social clubs and gyms or visiting museums and galleries - and to develop or maintain relationships with family and friends
  • Attend appointments, liaise with other professionals, external agencies and access relevant services
  • Access educational, training and employment opportunities

Volunteers can also support us by engaging in research, administrative, fundraising or marketing roles and we are also open to developing new roles that better meet your skills or interests.
